Jack Lehman
Jack began his formal training with the Marist Brothers, a Catholic religious order, at the age of sixteen, and held religious vows for four years. After completing his BA in French Literature, he earned an MA in Philosophy at the Sorbonne in Paris. Jack then lived in Asia for 10 years, where he encountered the work of J. Krishnamurti, whom he considers to be his spiritual father, and practiced Vipassana under the tutelage of SN Goenka. In Japan he trained in Karate, attaining a third-degree Black Belt, and then focused on the essence of the martial arts. He returned to India and taught the latter in the Rajneesh ashram in Poona, India, where he became the personal body guard of Osho (Rajneesh) and moved back to the U.S. with him. After leaving the Osho community in 1985, Jack settled in Santa Fe and earned an MA in Counseling Psychology. He maintains a private practice in psychotherapy, specializing in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Nonviolent Communication. Passionate about getting free of conditioning, he is currently exploring the interface of tango, high country equine adventure and abiding in the present. Learn more about Nonviolent Communication.

Lama Tsultrim is author of the bestselling Feeding Your Demons: Ancient Wisdom for Resolving Inner Conflict (2008) and the founder and spiritual director of Tara Mandala, an international Buddhist network and 700-acre retreat center in Colorado. She was the first American woman to become a Tibetan Buddhist nun, in 1970. At about the same time she met Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche in Scotland and studied closely with him from 1973 to 1979. She was among his first meditation instructors and in the first group of vajrayana instructors. She also taught at Naropa University from 1976 to 1979 before moving to Italy in 1979. Lama Tsultrim is also author of the groundbreaking book Women of Wisdom (1984, 2000), which documents the lives of great Tibetan Buddhist women teachers, and the forthcoming Meeting the Mandala (Simon and Schuster, 2018). In 2007, Lama Tsultrim was recognized as an emanation of the 11th-century teacher Machig Labdron. She was given the Machig Labdron empowerment by H.H. the 17th Karmapa in 2012.
